THREADING

 ONE'S

WAY

With Katherine Colwell

11th Annual Rivendell Embroidery and Fiberart Retreat

June 6-8, 2008

Graphite, pen and ink, color pencil, and silk, wool and

metallic threads are a few possibilities to explore with
Katherine during THREADING ONE’S WAY.

Participants in our 10th Annual Embroidery and Fiber Retreat describe it as the "best Retreat yet!" and "most inspiring yet."

In 2008, THREADING ONE’S WAY  will again be our theme---as most applicable to the individualized mentoring Katherine provides, whether for beginning or advanced skill levels.  The number of participants will be limited to six---to receive optimal interaction with Katherine's mentoring.

For our 11th Annual Embroidery and Fiber Retreat, Katherine will guide your exploration of personal fiber and embroidery goals.  What do you want to explore in depth?

You may wish to bring a past Retreat project you haven't had time to complete, or, bring materials and ideas to start a long dreamed of project, to get it going and make good progress towards completion.  No more dreaming—the time is at hand!

Several participants expressed interest in exploring monotypes and monoprints on fabric, in relation to their fiber and embroidery goals, so Katherine will provide basic instruction for this process during our 11th Annual.

We look forward to you taking these three days—a time of quiet work and collaboration with other stitchers and fiber lovers—to explore in depth the fiber and/or fine art media and imagery of your choice.
