Laughingwater Creek

Summers are warm, with daytime temperatures June through August ranging from 80º to mid-90ºs. There is nearly always a breeze, especially at night when temperatures cool down to the 50's and low 60's. Winters can be mild, with infrequent snows dusting the landscape, or with snows up to 12" and temperatures near zero.

Autumn is our favorite time, with nearby golden aspen hillsides, skies bright blue, and ideal temperatures. Evening campfires are available for relaxation, story telling, and stargazing. Moonlight walks are also a favorite. A variety of clothing is advised, especially hiking shoes or boots.
